Q: Does Nutrition AI cost extra or need Premium? A: No. It's available to all users. Usage is monitored, and excessive-usage protection applies separately from Workouts AI.
Q: A trainer asked for a plan for a client with a nut allergy — can they trust it's nut-free? A: The AI applies the client's PAR-Q allergies automatically and filters curated meals using verified allergen data. Other foods are judged by name only, and the AI says so in its reply. Trainers must always review a plan before assigning it — this is what the 60-day acknowledgement modal reminds them.
Q: Why did the AI ask before using my client's saved macros? A: By design. When a trainer doesn't give numbers, the AI shows the client's saved targets and checks before using them, rather than silently assuming they still apply.
Q: I told the AI my client's height and weight — why won't it work out their macros? A: The AI never calculates targets from body stats in chat. It directs the trainer to Generate Macros (from the client card), which uses the platform's formulas and saves the result to the client's profile.
Q: I set new targets in chat — why haven't they updated on the client's profile? A: Targets given in chat only apply to the plan being built. Only the Generate Macros modal saves targets to the client.
Q: Can the AI update a client's allergies? A: No. The AI never edits the PAR-Q, and trainers can't change a client's declared allergies from the Contact Profile either — the allergy is the client's own PAR-Q answer. If it's out of date, the trainer can still ask for the item — the AI suggests an alternative first and adds the requested item once the trainer confirms with "go ahead".
Q: Why can't I remove the client from the AI panel? A: When editing a plan from a client's profile, that client is locked to the conversation. To build without client context, create the plan from the main Nutrition area instead.
Q: Where's the "Save for All Assigned Clients" option? A: It's been removed when editing from a client's profile. Edits there only ever apply to that client — they get a new plan with the changes, and the original template is untouched for everyone else.
Q: A trainer uploaded a photo of their lunch and the AI wouldn't use it — is that a bug? A: No. Plate photos aren't supported yet. The AI only reads written meal plans (typed, handwritten, screenshots, PDFs).
Q: A trainer is asking where the AI's meals come from — can they browse the library? A: No. The curated meal library is internal and only used by the AI. Trainers can't browse it, and the AI won't reference it in replies.
Q: The AI gave me 2 eggs when I asked for 15% more calories — why not exactly 15%? A: Whole-unit foods only change in sensible whole steps, so results land within tolerance (±5%) rather than exactly on the number.
Q: A trainer is locked out of Nutrition AI — can they still use Workouts AI? A: Yes. Locks are separate per feature. Servicing can review usage and lock/unlock per feature in Internal Admin.
Q: The nutrition templates have disappeared — where have they gone? A: They've been removed on web because they were dated and unmaintained. Plans already created from them still work. They still show on mobile for now.
Q: What image formats are accepted?
A: Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF and PDF
